James Booth

James was born in July 1829 in Bolton and his baptism took place on July 12th, 1829 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

James' father was William Booth and his mother was Jane Rostron. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Booth and Alice Scowcroft; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Rostron and Mary Holt. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Richard, William, Mary, Alice and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died before 1841.
