It is clear that Ann cannot be the mother of all of Richards Children. He must have been widowed when he married her (which is confirmed on the marriage record)
In 1815, Richard married Jane Draper and between 1817 - 1825 they had Sally, James and John baptised, but not Willam who is on the 1841 census aged 20, so possible two families merged!
Richard Booth, a Groom, 45, was at Toppings in 1841 with 8 or 9 children, but probably widowed.
In 1842, Richard Booth, Weaver of Tomlin Fold was the infromant of his bro-in-law's death.
