Adam Booth

Adam was born in 1804 in Harwood and his baptism took place on August 5th, 1804 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Adam's father was Richard Booth and his mother was Catherine Whalley.  His paternal grandparents were Edward Booth and Betty Chadwick. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Richard, Adam, Alice, Alice, Elizabeth, Peggy, Jane and Ellen.  He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 21 in January 1825 in Breightmet.  He was buried on January 9th, 1825 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²

‌Adam and Alice were married in a religious ceremony on July 18th, 1824 at St. Peter's (Bolton).³   They had a son named James.  There are no more children.
