James Bolton

James was born in 1787 in Bolton and his baptism took place on June 17th, 1787 at Turton Chapel.

James' father was Edmund Bolton and his mother was Mary Davenport. He had five brothers and six sisters, named John, Robert, Sarah, Edmund, John, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah, Hannah, Nancy and Dolly. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 57 in February 1844 in Salford. His burial was on February 27th, 1844 in Lancaster.¹
