Ann Bentley

Ann was born in January 1850 in Edgworth and her baptism took place on April 23rd, 1851 at St. Anne (Turton).¹

Birth Notes

Ann's father was Andrew Bentley and her mother was Jenny (Jane) Mather. Her maternal grandparents were James Mather and Rachel Hamer. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Andrew, James, Ellen, Jane and Alice. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother named Abel. She died at the age of 1 in April 1851 in Edgworth. She was buried on April 23rd, 1851 at St. Anne (Turton).²
