Andrew Bentley

Andrew was born in June 1854 in Manchester and his baptism took place on July 2nd, 1854 at St. Anne (Turton).¹

Birth Notes

Andrew's father was Andrew Bentley and his mother was Jenny (Jane) Mather. His maternal grandparents were James Mather and Rachel Hamer. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Henry, James, Ellen, Ann, Jane and Alice. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named Abel. He died at the age of 5 in January 1860 in Manchester. He was buried on January 4th, 1860 at St. Anne (Turton).²
