William Lea Bate

William's father was John Bate and his mother was Emily Brereton. His maternal grandparents were John Brereton and Mary Ann Lea. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Thomas, Stephen and Annie. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 55 on October 3rd, 1947.²
