Myra Alice POINTON

Myra was born on November 23rd, 1887 in Caltowie, SA.¹   Myra's father was Thomas POINTON and her mother was Mary Ann DOWTY.  Her paternal grandparents were James POINTON and Peggy POLKINGHORNE. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Henry, Edgar, John, Flossie, Rosetta, Ella and Sylvia.  She was the third oldest of the eight known children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, Arthur, Edith and Ethel.
