Ethel Maud POINTON

Ethel was born on October 17th, 1879 in Caltowie, SA.¹   Ethel's father was Thomas POINTON and her mother was Ann CASTLE.  Her paternal grandparents were James POINTON and Peggy POLKINGHORNE. She had two brothers and a sister, named John, Arthur and Edith.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Henry, Edgar, John, Myra, Flossie, Rosetta, Ella and Sylvia.
