Edith Emily POINTON

Edith was born on March 15th, 1875 in Riverton, SA.¹   Edith's father was Thomas POINTON and her mother was Ann CASTLE.  Her paternal grandparents were James POINTON and Peggy POLKINGHORNE. She had two brothers and a sister, named John, Arthur and Ethel.  She was the second oldest of the four children. She had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Henry, Edgar, John, Myra, Flossie, Rosetta, Ella and Sylvia.
