James POINTON

James was born in 1821.¹   James' father was John POINTER and his mother was Mary EMERSON.  His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah POINTER and Christina GRAVENOR. He had two brothers named William and Jeremiah.  He was the oldest of the three known children.  He died at the age of 59 on October 11th, 1880 in Willunga, SA.²
