Henry James POINTON

Henry was born on March 13th, 1885 in Willunga, SA.¹   Henry's father was Thomas POINTON and his mother was Mary Ann DOWTY.  His paternal grandparents were James POINTON and Peggy POLKINGHORNE. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Edgar, John, Myra, Flossie, Rosetta, Ella and Sylvia.  He was the oldest of the eight known children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, Arthur, Edith and Ethel.
