Edgar Thomas POINTON

Edgar was born on August 29th, 1886 in Willunga, SA.¹   Edgar's father was Thomas POINTON and his mother was Mary Ann DOWTY.  His paternal grandparents were James POINTON and Peggy POLKINGHORNE. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Henry, John, Myra, Flossie, Rosetta, Ella and Sylvia.  He was the second oldest of the eight known children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, Arthur, Edith and Ethel.
