Edward James Waugh

Edward was born in 1841 in Simonburn, Northumberland and his baptism took place there on May 9th, 1841.¹² Edward's father was William Waugh and his mother was Mary Dodd. His maternal grandparents were Edward Dodd and Isabel Barnfather. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John, William, Robert, Thomas, Isabella, Celia, Catherine, Jane, Ann and Barbara. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
