Barbara Waugh

Barbara was born in 1847 in Simonburn, Northumberland and her baptism took place there on January 12th, 1847.¹ Barbara's father was William Waugh and her mother was Mary Dodd. Her maternal grandparents were Edward Dodd and Isabel Barnfather. She had five brothers and five sisters, named John, Edward, William, Robert, Thomas, Isabella, Celia, Catherine, Jane and Ann. She was the second youngest of the eleven children.
