Henry Whitling

Henry was born in 1829 and his christening took place on April 6th, 1829 in Burneston, Yorkshire.  Henry's father was John Whitling and his mother was Mary Couldwell.  His paternal grandparents were John Whitling and Ann Snarey; his maternal grandparents were Richard Couldwell and Jane Hesseltine. He had two brothers and six sisters, named John, Richard, Jane, Emma, Marianne, Eliza, Harriet and Rebecca.  He was the youngest of the nine children.
