Eliza Whitling

Eliza was born in 1822 and her christening took place on June 3rd, 1822 in Burneston, Yorkshire.  Eliza's father was John Whitling and her mother was Mary Couldwell.  Her paternal grandparents were John Whitling and Ann Snarey; her maternal grandparents were Richard Couldwell and Jane Hesseltine. She had three brothers and five sisters, named John, Richard, Henry, Jane, Emma, Marianne, Harriet and Rebecca.  She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
