Bettie Elizabeth Simmons 
Bettie Elizabeth was born on October 15th, 1884 in Van Buren Co, TN and her baptism took place in Census 1910. Bettie Elizabeth's father was Charles Taylor Simmons and her mother was Jane 'Jennie' Phifer. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Lewis Simmons Sr. and Nancy Caroline Beatty. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Eusebius Monroe, Jay, Joe J., Charles Evans, Foster Victor, Caroline L. C. Mollie, Nancy Elsie and Jennie Lucinda. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 41 on April 16th, 1926 in Van Buren Co, TN.General Notes
