Joseph N. Simmons 
Joseph N. was born in 1793 in SC and his baptism took place in Marriage Info. Joseph N.'s father was James Simmons and his mother was Stacy Ann Roberts. His maternal grandparents were John Roberts and Wife Unknown. He had six brothers and five sisters, named James, William, Drury, Francis, Zachariah Thomas, Spencer D., Nancy 'Fannie' J., Rachel, Sarah, Elizabeth and Eustacia. He died due to Drowned in Cane Creek at the age of 72 in 1865 in Van Buren Co, TN. He was buried in Beach Grove Cemetery, Van Buren Co, TN.General Notes
