Spencer D. was born in 1817 in TN. Spencer D.'s father was James Simmons and his mother was Stacy Ann Roberts. His maternal grandparents were John Roberts and Wife Unknown. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Joseph N., James, William, Drury, Francis, Zachariah Thomas, Nancy 'Fannie' J., Rachel, Sarah, Elizabeth and Eustacia. He died at the age of 59 in 1876 in Wayne Co, MO.General Notes
