Charles Taylor Simmons 
Charles Taylor was born on February 4th, 1849 in Van Buren Co, TN and his baptism took place in Children Fact. Charles Taylor's father was Benjamin Lewis Simmons Sr. and his mother was Nancy Caroline Beatty. His paternal grandparents were Joseph N. Simmons and Mary Elizabeth 'Betty' Lewis. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Sidney, Joseph R., Benjamin Lewis, Sophronia F. and Margaret D.. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 70 on January 19th, 1920. He was buried in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Cummingsville, Van Buren Co, TN.General Notes
