Sarah Roberts 
Sarah was born in 1852 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Sarah's father was John Roberts and her mother was Minerva Thomas. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Roberts and Sarah Joyce. She had six brothers and a sister, named Thomas, William M., Jackson, Jones Washington, John B., Pleasant Harvey and Marion Karen. She was the youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Thomas and Daughter. She died at the age of 18 in 1870.1 General Notes
