Jones Washington Roberts 
Jones Washington was born in 1843 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Jones Washington's father was John Roberts and his mother was Minerva Thomas. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Roberts and Sarah Joyce. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, William M., Jackson, John B., Pleasant Harvey, Marion Karen and Sarah. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Thomas and Daughter. He died at the age of 52 in 1895.General Notes
