William Rowland Welch

William Rowland was born in 1815 in Muhlenberg Co, KY.¹   William Rowland's father was Osias Welch and his mother was Elizabeth Rowland.  His maternal grandparents were Joseph Rowland and Catherine Dobbins. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Jefferson R., George Washington, James A., Benjamine J., Isaac R., Mahala, Malinda and Elizabeth. He had six half-brothers and five half-sisters, named John, Keziah, Jesse, Richard, Thomas, Joseph, Sally, Mary (Polly), Sally, Mary Ann and Pauline.  He died at the age of 71 in 1886 in KS.¹
