George Washington Welch

George Washington was born on February 26th, 1807.¹   George Washington's father was Osias Welch and his mother was Elizabeth Rowland.  His maternal grandparents were Joseph Rowland and Catherine Dobbins. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Jefferson R., James A., William Rowland, Benjamine J., Isaac R., Mahala, Malinda and Elizabeth. He had six half-brothers and five half-sisters, named John, Keziah, Jesse, Richard, Thomas, Joseph, Sally, Mary (Polly), Sally, Mary Ann and Pauline.  He died at the age of 61 on December 17th, 1868 in McDonough Co, IL.¹
