Mahala Welch 
Mahala was born on December 5th, 1808 in Muhlenberg Co, KY.1 Mahala's father was Osias Welch and her mother was Elizabeth Rowland. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Rowland and Catherine Dobbins. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Jefferson R., George Washington, James A., William Rowland, Benjamine J., Isaac R., Malinda and Elizabeth. She had six half-brothers and five half-sisters, named John, Keziah, Jesse, Richard, Thomas, Joseph, Sally, Mary (Polly), Sally, Mary Ann and Pauline. She died at the age of 71 on May 14th, 1880 in KY.1 -
