Robert Riley Hopkins

Robert Riley was born on June 4th, 1855 in Wayne Co, GA.¹ Robert Riley's father was Thomas Spalding Hopkins and his mother was Jane Elizabeth Gignilliat. His paternal grandparents were Francis Hopkins and Rebecca Sayre. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Nichols, Octavius, James Gignilliat, John May G., Mary Elizabeth, Georgia Day, Anna Jane J. and Julietta Cora. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Francis William, Henry William, Louisa Jane and Cecelia Bonita.¹
