Louisa Jane Hopkins

Louisa Jane was born on December 5th, 1840 in near Wayneville, Wayne Co., GA.¹ Louisa Jane's father was Thomas Spalding Hopkins and her mother was Julia Mary Dufour. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Hopkins and Rebecca Sayre. She had two brothers and a sister, named Francis William, Henry William and Cecelia Bonita. She was the oldest of the four children. She had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Thomas Nichols, Octavius, James Gignilliat, Robert Riley, John May G., Mary Elizabeth, Georgia Day, Anna Jane J. and Julietta Cora.¹
