Francis William Hopkins

Francis William was born on April 8th, 1843 in near Wayneville, Wayne Co., GA.¹ Francis William's father was Thomas Spalding Hopkins and his mother was Julia Mary Dufour. His paternal grandparents were Francis Hopkins and Rebecca Sayre. He had a brother and two sisters, named Henry William, Louisa Jane and Cecelia Bonita. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Thomas Nichols, Octavius, James Gignilliat, Robert Riley, John May G., Mary Elizabeth, Georgia Day, Anna Jane J. and Julietta Cora. He died in d.s.p..¹
