John Hansford Dean 
John Hansford was born on April 16th, 1865 in Beaufort Co., SC.1 John Hansford's father was Allen Nelson Dean and his mother was Anne Peeples. His paternal grandparents were Allen Jones Dean and Sarah Thial; his maternal grandfather was Henry Peeples. He had four brothers and six sisters, named William Henry, Jesse Barnwell, James Allen, Oliver Nelson, Eliza Sophnonia, Sarah Pernease, Rachel Salena, Ann Elizabeth, Mary Rebecca and Martha Penelope. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 48 on December 14th, 1913. He was buried in Jesup, Wayne Co., GA.1 1 -
