Ann Elizabeth was born on May 30th, 1854 in Beaufort Co., SC.1 Ann Elizabeth's father was Allen Nelson Dean and her mother was Anne Peeples. Her paternal grandparents were Allen Jones Dean and Sarah Thial; her maternal grandfather was Henry Peeples. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William Henry, Jesse Barnwell, James Allen, Oliver Nelson, John Hansford, Eliza Sophnonia, Sarah Pernease, Rachel Salena, Mary Rebecca and Martha Penelope. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 67 on April 22nd, 1922. She was buried in Sardis Cem., Beaufort Co., SC.1 1 -
