John Troxell 
John was born on August 9th, 1784 in Whitehall Twp., Northampton Co., PA. John's father was Peter Troxell and his mother was Helena Catherine Schoener. His paternal grandfather was Peter Johannes Troxell and his paternal grandmother is Anna Maria X. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Daniel, Peter, Abraham, Jacob, Solomon, Maria Suzanna, Magdalena and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 84 on September 18th, 1868 in Whitehall Twp., PA..General Notes
John was baptised on Sept. 12, 1784 at the Jordon Reformed Church. Sponsors: John Troxell and Maria Elizabeth Schoenerin (Schoener). John was a lifelong farmer and resided on the homestead near the Iron Bridge. He and his wife Elizabeth are buried at the Jordon Reformed Church Cem., Whitehall, S. Whitehall Twp., Lehigh Co., PA.
