William Riley Shipton 
William Riley was born on May 15th, 1825. William Riley's father was Jesse Shipton and his mother is Julia Davis. His paternal grandfather is Peter Shipton and his paternal grandmother was Elizabeth Easton. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Francis, Joseph E., John, Jesse, Dudley S., Mary Ann, Sarah, Julia and Sylvania. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 45 in 1870 in CA.General Notes
