General Notes

Most sources state that Mary was born in 1750, but this would make her 54 years old when John J. Eastin was born.  Of course, having a child at this late age is not unheard of, but it brings up possibilities that she may have been born much later or was a first spouse.  I have also seen her birth year as late as 1770, but some of John`s children were being born in the early 1770s (according to several sources).  These descrepancies, along with a POSSIBILITY that John MIGHT have had a second wife by 1783(see insert on his page),have me wondering.  So if anyone can provide solid evidence on Mary`s birth year and such along with marriage, I would greatly appreciate it.  I have not been successful in tracing her with any authority.  Sources: 10, 11, 96, and various websites.
