Elizabeth was born about 1768 in VA. Elizabeth's father was John+ Eastin and her mother was Mary Elender+ Orchard. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Eastin and Sarah Whitlock. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Charles, Alexander, Thornton, Reuben, Richard+, James Thomas, John II J., Sarah, Frances and Lucy. She was the oldest of the eleven children.
