Jesse Shipton 
Jesse was born about 1785. Jesse's father is Peter Shipton and his mother was Elizabeth Easton. His paternal grandparents are Robert Jr. Shipton and Sarah X; his maternal grandparents were John+ Eastin and Mary Elender+ Orchard. He had a brother named Phillip. He was the older of the two children. He died before 1849.General Notes

Note: In the 1850 census for Dubuque Co., Iowa she lists her age as 46 making her born in 1804 in South Carolina, so her father Jesse would have to have been born well before then.
