William Albert Mikels 
William Albert was born in 1853 in Adair Co., MO. William Albert's father was John Noah Mikels and his mother was Missouri Edwards. His paternal grandparents were Hugh Mikels and Charity Ann Scholl; his maternal grandparents were John Edwards and Mary Williams. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Barnum B., Charles Edward, George Washington, John Noah, Jesse Boone, Sarah Jane, Eliza Ellen, Dora Bell, Cornelia H., Elizabeth, Mary Alice, Grace and Anna M.. He was the oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 39 in October 1892 in Adair Co., Mo.General Notes
