Squire Boone 
Squire was born on November 25th, 1696 in Bradninch, Exeter, Devonshire, England. Squire's father was George Boone and his mother was Mary Milton Maugridge. His paternal grandparents were George Boone and Sarah Uppey; his maternal grandparents were John Maugridge and Mary Milton. He had a sister named Sarah. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 68 on January 2nd, 1765 in Salisbury, Rowan Co., NC. He was buried in Joppa Cemetery, Mocksville, Rowan, NC.General Notes
Squire was rejected by the Quaker friends for allowing his son Israel to marry a non-Quaker.
