Eliza Ellen was born on March 6th, 1862 in Adair Co., MO. Eliza Ellen's father was John Noah Mikels and her mother was Missouri Edwards. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh Mikels and Charity Ann Scholl; her maternal grandparents were John Edwards and Mary Williams. She had six brothers and seven sisters, named William Albert, Barnum B., Charles Edward, George Washington, John Noah, Jesse Boone, Sarah Jane, Dora Bell, Cornelia H., Elizabeth, Mary Alice, Grace and Anna M.. She was the fourth oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 67 on September 20th, 1929 in Clinton Co., IN.General Notes
