Lydia was born on February 15th, 1752 in Goochland, VA. Lydia's father was Strangeman+ Hutchins and her mother was Elizabeth+ Cox. Her paternal grandparents were Nicholas+ Hutchins and Mary+ Holmes Watkins; her maternal grandparents were Richard+ Cox and Mary+ Trent. She had four brothers and six sisters, named John, Nicholas+, Thomas, Benjamin, Mary, Edith, Elizabeth, Obedience, Jane and Millicent. She was the second youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 39 on April 7th, 1791 in Yadkin, NC.General Notes
