Margaret Douglas 
Margaret was born on October 8th, 1515 in Harbottle Castle, Northumberland, England. Margaret's father was Archibald Douglas and her mother was Margaret Tudor. Her paternal grandparents were George Douglas and Elizabeth Drummond; her maternal grandparents were Henry VII Tudor and Elizabeth Plantagenet. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James, Arthur, James V, Alexander, Janet and Dorothea. She died at the age of 62 on March 9th, 1578 in Hackney, London, Middlesex, England. "There is no evidence to support John HOWARD and Elizabeth LOCK, having a son Matthew. Their marriage date and the birth dates of their known children would make it highly unlikely that Matthew of VA (my note: Sources show Matthew born in England) was a child of this couple. There is also no evidence to support that John's father Robert HOWARD was a child of Lord Thomas HOWARD and Lady Margaret DOUGLAS. The foundation of the theory by James E. Moss (originator of the theory) was based on a 1714 coat of arms purporting to show they had a child. Moss' interpretation was based on a false premise, and no relation between the HOWARD and DOUGLAS families is implied by that arms. Further details under HOWARD-DOUGLAS theory at above site."
So, we have a "conflict"; this line will need further research.
