Margaret was born on November 28th, 1489 in Westminster.  Margaret's father was Henry VII Tudor and her mother was Elizabeth Plantagenet.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund Tudor and Margaret Beaufort; her maternal grandparents were Edward IV Plantagenet and Elizabeth+ Wydeville. She had a brother and a sister, named Henry VIII and Mary.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 51 on October 18th, 1541 in Methven Castle.  She was buried in Carthusian Abbey of St. John, Perth.


Margaret's first family with James IV+ Stewart

‌Margaret and James IV+ were married in a religious ceremony on August 8th, 1503 in Holyrood Abbey.  They had four sons named James, Arthur, James V and Alexander.


Margaret's second family with Archibald Douglas

‌Margaret and Archibald were married in a religious ceremony on August 6th, 1514 in Kinnoull Church.  They had a daughter named Margaret.


Margaret's third family with Henry Stewart

‌Margaret and Henry were married in a religious ceremony on March 3rd, 1528.  They had a daughter named Dorothea.
