James IV+ was born on March 17th, 1473 in Edinburgh, Mid-Lothian, Scotland. James IV+'s father was James III+ Stewart and his mother was Margarethe Von+ Oldenburg. His paternal grandparents were James II+ Stewart and Maria Of Gueldre D'+ Egmont; his maternal grandparents were Christian I Von+ Oldenburg and Dorothea Von+ Hohenzollern. He was an only child. He died due to Killed in the Battle Of Flodden at the age of 40 on September 9th, 1513 in Flodden Field, Northumberland, England. He was buried in 1513 in Richmond, Surrey, England.General Notes
