Jean D'+ was born about 1385. Jean D'+'s father was Arnold D'+ Egmont and his mother was Jolanthe Von+ Leiningen. His paternal grandparents were Jean D'+ Egmont and Guyote D'+ Amstel; his maternal grandparents were Friedrich VII Von+ Leiningen and Yolande Von+ Julich. He was an only child.
