Johanna Von+ was born about 1250. Johanna Von+'s father was Simon I Von+ Sponheim and her mother was Margareta Von+ Heimbach. Her paternal grandparents were Gottfried III Von+ Sponheim and Adelheid Von+ Sayn. She had two brothers named Johann I Von and Heinrich I Von. She was the second oldest of the three children.
