Simon I Von+ Sponheim 
Simon I Von+ was born about 1220. Simon I Von+'s father was Gottfried III Von+ Sponheim and his mother was Adelheid Von+ Sayn. His paternal grandfather was Gottfried II Von+ Sponheim and his paternal grandmother is Nm Von+ Velden; his maternal grandparents were Heinrich II Von+ Sayn and Agnes Von+ Saffenberg. He had two brothers named Heinrich Von+ and Johann I Von. He was the youngest of the three children. He died before 1265.General Notes
