His paternal grandfather was George+ Douglas and his paternal grandmother is Isabel+ Sibbald; his maternal grandparents were Robert+ Boyd and Mariota+ Maxwell. He had a brother and a sister, named William+ and Marion. He was the oldest of the three children. He died due to Killed in the Battle Of Flodden on September 9th, 1513 in Scotland.General Notes
