Agnes was born about 1174 in Tutbury Castle, Staffordshire, England.  Agnes' father was Earl Hugh de Keveliock of Chester and her mother was Bertrade de Montfort.  Her paternal grandparents were Ranulph des Gernons and Maud FitzRobert; her maternal grandfather was Simon ("le Chauve") de Montfort II and her maternal grandmother is Countess Maud d'Evereux. She had five sisters named Beatrix, Amicia, Maud, Mabel and Hawise.  She died on November 2nd, 1247 in Wallingford, Berkshire, England.

‌Agnes and William were married in a religious ceremony in 1192.  They had a son and three daughters, named William, Petronille, Bertha and Agnes.
