Lucy was born in Spalding, Lincolnshire.  Lucy's father was Earl Ives Ivo de Taillebois of Anjou and her mother is Lucy Beatrice Malet.  Her paternal grandparents were Rolf de Taillebois and Azeline; her maternal grandparents were Sire William Malet I of Granville and Hesila Crispin. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Eldred, Eldred, Adeliza Matilda and Christiana.  She died about 1136.


Lucy's family with Earl Ranulph ("de Briquessart") de Meschines III of Chester

‌Lucy and "de Briquessart" were married in a religious ceremony about 1097 in England.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Ranulph, William and Adeliza.
