Maud FitzGeoffrey was born before 1177 in Warwick, Warwickshire, Eng.  Maud FitzGeoffrey's father was Earl Geoffrey FitzPiers de Mandeville of Essex and her mother was Beatrice de Saye.  Her paternal grandparents were Piers de Lutegareshale and Lady Maude de Mandeville of Costow; her maternal grandfather was Baron William de Saye of Mandeville and her maternal grandmother is Aufrica de Scotland. She had a brother named William.  She was the older of the two children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named John and Hawise.  She died on August 27th, 1236 in England.

‌Maud FitzGeoffrey and Henry were married in a religious ceremony in 1197 in Essex, England.  They had a son named Humphrey.
